good luck with your brompton quest. Apart from Aceoffix clones, there's nothing that folds as small as a brommie with such a fast unfold. I'd check faceberg marketplooce, here in UK older models can go for around £400, you can quite easily refurbish them and upgrade some parts if they're worn out
