In the 52T ring you have good gearing for going fast in the flat land without using overly small sprockets and your chainline is good as well with small jumps between the gears.
In the 36T ring you have gears for light to medium climbs or short steep climbs.
Main issue is that you have little overlap, but if you're used to that it isn't a big deal either.
