On my 51km ride last Tuesday. The air and weather was that clear one could see the Alps (which was a nice reward for reaching the highest point of the tour).
15 minutes after the picture was taken I drove over some small stone which slit the tyre's sidewall causing a puncture a few hundred meters further. Didn't make it home before darkness and was happy that I've had my lights with me.
"Fixed" the tyre with some wire harness tape from the inside at home as the slice was only 5mm long and already put about 150km on it since then. I'm torn between keep riding with it or replacing it although there's still a lot of life in it.
