The dirt roads are in great shape, ie: dry. Even better if a vehicle that isn't a tractor creates a packed down spot. Dark clouds south of me for half the ride, but never seemed to get closer until I was almost home. Nice little break at the mid-point while I fixed a flat, first of the season, totally my fault.
