Which is dangerous. A lot of new cyclists around ~2008 were getting their information from Sheldon, Peterson, and random old kooks talking out of their ass on bikeforums.
Another rivbike meme: cantilever. Specifically the cr720. FUCK THESE THINGS. They sent me down a nightmare path as a new cyclist. In all but edge cases (giant tires w/fenders) mini v is superior to cantilever.
Peterson needs to put disclaimers on his website or something. Or just wake up. They've built brand resentment with these white lies and I think the backlash is already well underway
