>>1237243I'd suggest that you don't get 'rubbing alcohol'. Buy isopropyl alcohol like pic related, you should see it alongside the methylated spirits, turpentine, kerosene, etc at any decent hardware store or you can find it at a hobbyist electronics store. It is also good for cleaning electronics as it evaporates quickly and doesn't leave anything behind.
Medical 'rubbing alcohol' is generally the same thing, but more expensive, diluted more and they often add fragrances which is bad. Rubbing alcohol is also sometimes ethanol based.
