>>1487127>Can someone elaborate on why?I think its namely that bike frames and the cheapest and most reusable part of a bike
all the parts hanging off them are where the money hits
so it pays to have a nice frame if your going to sink money in to its accessory's
>Shifting isn’t the besthard to fix really
unless its something simple like being gunked up and / or poorly adjusted
some shift levers are worse than others for sure
the bike looks fairly new and does not have much damage
it has the cheep parts that "serious" mtb people would scoff at
but your not using it for that purpose so ehh
>many times I feel like I need more braking powercheep cable operated disks are like that and the expensive cable disks aren't really being made anymore
https://www.bikeradar.com/features/why-its-time-to-consign-cable-disc-brakes-to-history/https://bijumbo.weebly.com/store/p3/TRITON.html kek
so at some point its worth going hole hog just to get hydros
but keep in mind that every single brand of disk brake uses a different shape and size of pad
so be sure to find out what a popular and easily available brake pad is in your area
and also what kind of hydraulic fluid your disk brake needs/demands (this effects the rubber seals that stop the oil from spurting everywhere)
>remote fork lockoutits uhh complex
the steerer tube shape and crown to axle center distance of your fork is mostly on lower end bikes
so to get fancy features like that requires some bastard between a cheep and mid range product
its possible but well hidden deep inside fiendishly difficult to navigate catalogs and manuals
