The bike collapses under me, I fall forward arms out and am speared perfectly in the sternum by the bars. The next few minutes involve me desperately trying to breathe through my fractured sternum and giga-winding, and my girlfriend oscillating between freaking out, going full Florence Nightingale and wondering how the fuck this faggot has sustained a fracture and incapacitated himself at 2mph.
Sternum was cracked and spent the next few weeks in agony.
