Something a lot like this after my slightly less shitty bike got stolen (before I knew jack shit about bikes), cheap plastic grips on the bars, heavy as all hell, bent fenders and rusty everything with worn out rear cogs that caused the chain to skip, barely functional derailleurs, the works.
I got it in a pinch for $50 and commuted on it for ~3 months or so, and I think the shittiness of it is what prompted me to learn more about bikes and get a good one.
