>>1268923Thank you!
>>1268940>It's like the missing link between a beach cruiser and a bikefiets rolling wheelbarrow. They're called Cycletrucks. Schwinn made one back in the 40s or 50s (pic related) there was also one by Worksman. Other than finding one of those vintage rides, they were mostly a DIY pursuit until recently when a few companies started making production offerings. A company called Cyclefab in Seattle also makes a conversion kit for turning old steel mtb into Cycletrucks.
>I'm curious on what the hell you carry in that thing. I imagine you want to keep a significant load, or riding position over the back wheel, to prevent an over the bars on a hard stop.Mostly bags of groceries and firewood. The bigger issue with hard-stops with the smaller front wheel is washing the front out in wet conditions.
>>1268980What don't you like about disc brakes on them? This type of bike is called a Cycletruck.
>>1268996Thank you much. It was a fun 8 months building it up, and it's a very fun ride.
>>1269003It's ok, you just don't know enough about bikes yet to understand why stuff like this is cool.
