>>1401741unless you want to spend a lot on bags you'll be using baskets
important thing for aero and handling is too keep the mass center line
.eg
>>1402191 >>1401762 >>1401765>>1402332 is needlessly small (but that does fit OPs mission of being a faggot)>>1402230 open wire bars let some smaller items fall trough (1+ for aero)fine for most shopping or if you use a bag
but in some ways mesh baskets are more convenient, down side being they are a little fragile
cheep option is to use pantry baskets or wardrobe baskets, esp that they come in many sizes
.eg to fit an 18 liter backpack (xyz)
lay on side 230 wide 430 long 240 deep (mm)
laying down 250 wide 430 long 200 deep (mm)
standing up 210 wide 240 long 200 deep (mm)
plus a little more to hold other stuff like raincoats and bike locks
https://www.basil.com/en/cento-basket-titanium.htmlthe narrowest basket that would be useful in the back is 130 wide 150 deep 350 long (mm)
front baskets need to be sized more carefully than rear and depend alot more on the bike so I can give no advice here
aside to say that you may as well have two baskets that can each handle a reusable shopping bag
this way your bags are already packed when your out of the store, drop them in the baskets then strap them down with cargo nets or old inner tubes/bungee cord
>>1402216its like that on most bikes, the chain stays are too short
I'm not so convinced by panniers as they need to be evenly loaded left to right
pannier bags are a target for theft even when empty and are awkward to carry about off the bike
