I've found near the end of my ~2 hr ride (remember, with breaks) when I am properly warmed up and can stay around 16-17mph (pushing it for me with these tires) for a good while I am relatively comfortable. I'll consider the threadless adapter and various stems, maybe some with a 17 degree rise. I'm also going to see if I can test ride a 56/54cm, but I really want to make the bike work because I feel I'm almost there. And seeing
