Make sure it's fit well (good seat height, leg extension) or you won't be able to develop an even smooth pedal stroke that lets you comfortably maintain a high cadence. Part of the appeal is that they're rigorous to ride and a great high intensity workout. Cruising around on a dj bike is like the opposite of that, if you're just a lazy shit and you don't like pedalling then it's not the right bike for you at all. Just making it SS is still going to leave you with something shitty for you, you want something more like pic related.
