>>1217449>That is a 11-24 cassette, typicly 7 speed is like 11-28Dedicated DH clusters are tighter. E13 LG1 cassette - as pictured - is 9-21. So you can use 32 or smaller drive ring for extra ground clearance.
>>1217449>Where the hell do you ride that you need that low gearing and don't kill the 10T-sprocket by overusing it in combiation the terrible chainline 1x13 gives you?>You shift into your final gear at slightly over 30 km/h, wich is not exactly much, even on my plusbike hardtail I tend to ride at about 30 km/h for the most part on the way to the trails.A mixture of gravel, small hills and preference for higher cadence. My main bike has 39/11 top gear and it is sufficient of 45km/h for me. 30 something is 39/17 territory. Which coincides with the middle of the cassette ( 11-25, 10sp )
My road bike is set up with higher gears, obviously, but not much.
Chainline is irrelevant for a properely set-up drivetrain. If your primary driving chainring size is set up in a way that most used gears are on the middle of the cassette, then occasional vering into severe crosschain is irrelevant from the wear POV. One spends 80% of ride time on the proper CL anyways.
