Has anybody else who's been on the more modern light rail systems like G:Link, Sydney and Newcastle (ones I've been on; also Canberra) that it feels like you can't see out of the tram. On Melbourne's Australian trams the windows are all clear, but it seems like the light rail vehicles (I suppose this includes the Melbourne C2 and E classes) are always plastered in advertising which you can't see past.
Pic related: There was a Newcastle Tramway Museum. Founded 1982, folded 1995. Originally out at Rutherford, they moved back into Newcastle proper in 1992, operated trams from 1993 onward until they went into liquidation. The rollingstock was bought by Sydney Tramway Museum, Loftus. Speaking of Loftus, I hope we can all make it to Loftus one day, it must be a tram enthusiast's heaven.
