This wouldn't have been too bad since SPT trains had different branding (some exceptions did apply), but since 2008 they've been doing away with the separate branding and as a result there was no clear distinction between what was considered local SPT services where evening peak fares did not apply and regular ScotRail services where they did.
The last map showing this distinction was published in 2007. Almost all maps you see will at the very least include Edinburgh, where evening peak fares applied until 2023.
