get a 5L tub of car oil from local garage
(a 1L top up will do)
after you clean your chain, drop it in that bucket an give it a stir n let it settle for a good 30min
thicker oil takes a while longer,
take it out hang it up so all the oil runs off overnight, quick rub down in the morning and throw it on it will be silent for a good while, i tried the put parafin wax & your chain in a slow cooker/waterbath ordeal with numerous waxs and the noise is gross,
good luck, and if you cba just buy a few good brand cheap chains (izumi?) and switch out when u feel fit...
