>>1953487Northern's 158s are based at Neville Hill, so Leeds would be your best bet for those. All of the Leeds - Carlisle via the S&C and Leeds - Lancaster/Morecambe via Hellifield services are 158s as the 195s aren't cleared for these routes, and a little further afield so are the majority of Carlisle - Newcastle/Morpeth via he Tyne Valley (the exception seems to be if they need to get a 156 for the Cumbria Coast to/from Heaton for servicing). Not sure about East/South from Leeds, but there do seem to be some services off Doncaster that are 158 operated
