>>1902427I just got clotheslined by a forklift coming around a blind corner on a sidewalk last week. Ruptured two ligaments and needed surgery. Pretty surprised it didn't turn out worse, but also really disappointed that the property owner that's responsible and the relevant law enforcement have done jack shit about it so far.
I plan to continue cycling again given convenience for the area I live in, but I may not be able to until September or December depending on recovery. I did a 50km round trip along the river in April and really enjoyed it. Only 3 months out of the year are too cold for cycling here.
