Anyway besides that I endorse it, though Im not sure I see the use considering how effective GO is as commuter rail, and these distances aren't far enough to justify hsr as far as I know- why is there a Kitchener AND Guelph stop for instance? If we're overbuilding in the fantasy then add the aforementioned Hamilton route, but if not then don't skimp.

I am a dirty Hamilton shill and I will come up with ways to bring my city out of the mud with ridiculous plans that we will never enact because the city is run by a drunkard mayor. I always liked the ring of 'Birmingham of Canada' though, so my plans will always involve buying out the industrial tracks and using them for a metro system because that's how much track crisscrosses the city.
