Hello, I am a non-rate seaman in USCG right now, any recommendations for maximizing my hours/experience/etc. to make most money out of the Guard?
Obviously go BM or MK and get to work.
Is working on a 225 or other ATON very applicable to civ jobs?
Is a degree and license that is NOT unlimited (SUNY/Maine have programs under unlimited) a good idea to get into offshore tugs and such?
Is there any programs that are for those already in service, to work towards license, etc?
Im currently on one of the largest in the fleet. Dont mind the dumb work and fucked up watch hours, even as unqualified. But I have wife and child and would like to work more like the ATON fleet, a few days to a week gone at most (usually)
