The 737 first flew 50 years ago, using this (admittedly limited) logic the 787 will be around until at least 2059. There is also the 797 as you mentioned. Boeing only needs one new flagship aircraft once every decade at the most, so they can keep coasting as airlines aren't exactly screaming for new bleeding-edge aircraft like they were in the last century.
