The fact that your family never even bothered to teach you to ride a bike is something out of this world for me, but at the same time, you have managed to overcome the shortcomings of you upbringing all by yourself and found a new passion. Don't consider the years lost, rather focus on the years ahead of you and what adventures await now that you took up riding. There is a lot of people who had everything in their childhood and never learned to appreciate it. You've done a tremendous job with teaching yourself to ride a bike at 24 without help.
