There will always be something else, something you need to spend that money on, something you need to do with your time. The reality is very few people ever have the free time to do shit, most of us have to make the time. I'm active duty military and got my PPL(H) on my own time. It was hard, had a lot of sessions where I raced straight from work to go flying, hopped in the bird crazy tired and didn't want to do it, but I knew if I gave up or said "I'll just do it later," it was never gonna happen.
Made watching my logbook being signed by the DPE after I passed my checkride fucking sweet. It's worth the grind, I promise.
