>>1344360>>1344360Because if you want an big apartment in the centre of the city where everything is nice and walkable you have to pay 450k for it and even then you only get 50m2 which is enough for 2 people and maybe one kid but then it get's small.
https://www.immobilienscout24.de/expose/93680293#/Even an chief doctor in germany can earn less than 100k/year after taxation (which is really high if you get into middle class)
Let's take an computer scientist with a master degree in germany: 45k/year but after income tax 27k.
So if you live by your parents and you are a computer scientist and you parents feed you thorugh and you save up all the money: get ready to work 16 years for your apartment and leaving your parents home.
Meanwhile you can buy an apartment outside the city centre for 100k but then have a 40 minute commute by public transport that you share with all the people on social care who are often degenerates and their ghetto-gangster-JBLkids or get an car which will cost with insurance, taxes, fuel and repairs around 3k a year (I'm talking about a 1L engine VW Polo etc.), look every morning at the traffic map and commute in the same time but without having to stand, touching other peoples bodys in the cattle transporter etc.
But it may also be that it is only for me so bad, because I suffer from claustrophobia.
