Im a hiker. The only way I can explore hidden gems is by car. I am not going to cycle 20 miles so that afterwards I can walk 20 miles and then walk 20 miles back and then cycle another 20 miles back home. You'd have to be fucking insane to do that. No, cycling towards the starting point is fucking boring and tiring. You need to be fit before you start hiking, not out of breath. The journey would already be over before its begun. With my car I can just hop back in and relax. I often find cool shit too that I haul back to my car, such as large heavy pieces of metal. I find the craziest of shit that I would not be able to take with me on a stupid bicycle. Neither would I be able to take my metal detector. The only thing a bicycle is good for when it comes to my hobby is as a side pod while my car remains the mothership. I don't drive a big car either. I only got my license and a car just short of a year. But its fucking great. Previously I was so limited to what I could explore and where I could go with the shitty bicycle. With my car I have so much more freedom and experienced so much more. Pic not my car but something totally viable for you /n/eets
