This will almost certainly end up being a bad idea. Valve stem on wheelbarrow tube was cut so I cut it out and slapped in a stem and flap of tube from a bike tube. I applied some rubber cement before jamming it in, which wasn't air tight. So I filled the gap with E6000 silicone adhesive. It was holding air this morning and only needs to do 20 psi so maybe it'll work. Not like it will kill me if it fails.
The chinesium store was out of tubes and I didn't feel like paying $14 at Home Depot. This way I don't have to flip the chuck on my floor pump to schrader to pump it up.
