>>1849284Yes, even in that situation I can have a long enjoyable walk just being outside moving around without people or stuff *blocks your path* constantly. But in rural, suburban or mountain areas it's quite nice, and that's in large part because everyone else thinks it's unwalkable, you'd be crazy to go for a leisure walk there, and so I'm able to stroll along in peace, relaxed and having fun. It's not fun to try and navigate a city sidewalk or high-density pedestrian/cyclist zone where there's a never ending stream of bodies in the way or other shit blocking my path constantly.
For some reason no one else observes right-of-way rules or even direction of travel when being a pedestrian or cyclist, total chaos, stressful clusterfuck.
>>1849407I feel the opposite, and will give this recent example: I was the beach recently where there are several miles of wide walkway next to the sand. Tried to enjoy a long walk there, but there were constantly bodies in the way, people blocking my path or walking on the wrong side, cyclists on the walking side, people squiggling around me when I'm waiting for others to get out of the way... total clusterfuck, was not very fun. Then later I went for a walk on one-lane mountain roads with no sidewalk, just in the small space between the lane markings and fences, rocks, guardrails, etc. That was very serene and blissful, I like just being able to walk alone undisturbed.
