>>1189855>>1189850so I did some remeasuring in daylight and it turns out the target seatpost is in fact giant's typical 30.8mm and the seatpost I want in that hole is 28.2mm, which I find somewhat peculiar since you can find it mentioned but 27,2 seems to be the most typical case
would a 27.2/30.8mm reductor work or should I try just mounting the seat by the lower two rails and hoping the screws hold?
