It sort of parallels the existing rail line between Caulfield towards Clayton for a start, but finally brings proper public transport to both Chadstone Shopping Centre and Monash Uni. Extending it to Rowville, which has basically had a "proposed" rail line since 1969, is a bonus too.
Overall the plan looks pretty good for hitting three major holes in the transit network.
