OP here, this is the cities "solution". They want a bus lane for tourist travelling, so this has to stay. In this picture the street is wider, but for over 500m it is just 11.5 m, so the bus goes over it's lane. I think it's dangerous for bikers. Oh, and the cars should go in both directions.
