geometry and riding position has advanced, became more reliable, more safer, less OTBs, it became more specialized but it helped trail riding. One trend i dislike is the pursuit of high speed control as opossed to low speed fun, here rediculous HA, full suss and 29" comes in its place but it sure doesnt make ridng more fun, its like a fast bus ride.
