Generally speaking could you rebuild a suspension fork with the crown installed backwards (provided the arch offers enough clearance or you have a reverse arch?). I'm brainstorming fitting a 28 inch rigid bike with a 20 inch front wheel and a long enough suspension fork, and this would reduce the offset/rake enough to result in a nearly unchanged trail and overall geometry.
