IMO, there's no point to not going very cheap if you're dealing with 1 or 2 bikes and only use the stand maybe 6 times a year. If you can buy one of the stands from lidl or aldi on the cheap, do so, or at any place with a decent warranty. Baby them a little, and ride the warranty on them. Just don't forget that they're not meant to be used for more than adjusting derailleurs, rotor and wheel trueness, and washing the bike, if you try to pull out a crank, only use the stand as a vice to keep the bike standing, set the bike's wheels on the floor.
