I'm tired of grocery shopping with a backpack and want to invest in a new bike with racks and attached bags.
I already have an 90s racing bike but I don't want to mount racks on it.
Furthermore, if I understand correctly, you'd want a bike with the rear wheel hub as far as possible from the crank axle.
The reasons being to prevent your foot from hitting the bags + to the keep it stable with the added weigth.
I'm torn between those 2 options:
- get a touring bike, that could be used to go on occasional weekend trips
- get a more classic city bike
