Sometimes there are limitations, sometimes it requires a SODA, and sometimes they look at the provided medical records and consider it acceptable altogether. Unfortunately, some of the required diagnostic medical appointments can be costly, and it may or may not be covered by insurance. If they ask for more info, they haven’t denied you, which means there’s a chance.
Keep calling, they note when you follow up. Yes, getting them on the phone can be a pain in the ass. Jump through the hoops; if you need an extension, call closer to the expiration of your initial evaluation period, and don’t say “I just forgot to make the appointment”. Finally (and yes it’s retarded) don’t send your stuff in last minute. Send it in at least 2 weeks in advance if you can; they consider it late (and will deny you) if it’s not there 10 days early, speaking from experience.
