Just got myself an anthem 2 (2021). Being exactly between sizes i sized up because it felt better and more stable than L version (though it was an anthem 1 so a considerable bit out of my budget anyway). Flipped the stem and it seems really fine now, maybe i will get a shorter one by 1cm down the line but considering i rode road bike with slammed stem for years, this is nothing.
Compared to my old hardtail this rides beautifully over bumps and climbs well for a FS, can't complain about anything really.
Ps. Some friends and what seems a prevailing opinion on the internet, are saying i should have went with trance 2 aka midtravel 29er or more all around bike if im not competing in xc. Thoughts about this?
