I'm completely torn on my local transit networks, to be honest.
Pros:
>light rail/tram hybrid system
>trunk bus routes with six or more busses per hour
>local transit authority doing a good job
>excellent regional railway connections
>overall feels first world compared to, e.g., complains of the US anons on this board
Cons:
>trams are packed beyond capacity during peak hours
>may even need a metro
>NIMBYs prevent tram extensions and upgrades
>new trams can only be used on 2 of the 4 lines
>central trunk tunnel is at peak capacity already
>city is built for cars first and foremost
>bike infrastructure is awful
>regional bus company actually does a terrible job
So compared to almost everwhere else, the networks are excellent. But there is still lots of room for improvement.
