Gravel bike would be my choice since it gives lots of hand positions for longer rides, most can accept 40mm-50mm tires which are great for all use cases, and they are common in 2024.
A ridgid mtb is very similar, just with a flat bar and more "durable" focused, but could be rare in the current year.
Hardtail mtb with xc focus would be the most capable, but you have maintenance(suspension) and they aren't as great when standing so it would be my last choice.
You could double down and get a fatbike. Those are slow but the best for snow/sand.
