JR Shikoku just announced that they will introduce more Anpanman trains to their fleet on the Dosan Line for the 20th Anniversary of the Anpanman Train, which will include 2 4-car sets of the new 2700 Series DMU in red and yellow along with standard themed interiors. This also explained why some of the new 2700 Series DMU were delivered recently came without any livery

>>1465353Regarding those plans are they supposed to be surface rail and when were they proposed? (Not the same guy that ask but I am somewhat curious since there seems to be quite a lot of proposed projects that never came to be for reasons obvious or not)
