This stretch would include a street-running part to reach downtown Logan. Using DMUs it's not too problematic to have them run in the streets, they'd just act like glorified trams. The train would reach downtown and then loop back, so that there's only one track on either street, making this less invasive.
A possible way to operate would be to have DMU feeder trains from Logan and Garland reach Brigham City synched to the main commuter train, again acting as feeders, and the main commuter line end at Brigham city, since the towns further than that are small so it wouldn't make much economic sense to have a large commuter train reach such small towns (and carry proportionally few passengers)
