I recently swapped my old flat pedals to try out clipless with the Eggbeaters and some random Adidas spd shoes I got from my dad. On my first ride I immediately noticed what seemed like my saddle was way too low. I had to pull the seatpost up a good +2 centimeters (almost 1 inch) to get a good feeling for pedaling.
Is this normal? My bike is just on a good spot where it is slightly too small but perfectly rideable, and these things essentially reduce the frame size from 19" to 18". I swapped my flats back and feeling good again, now I wonder should I just sell the Eggbeaters away and get clipless with lower stack, or maybe try out some other shoes, or maybe just get some good quality light flats?
