I remember when I first got back into bikes (rode a bunch as a kid but stopped when we moved to a flat, then wanted to get into it again when started uni) all I wanted was "a regular bike". Not a "racy" bike, not an "offroad" bike, not a "fixie", just a regular bike with gears to get from A to B
Little did I know back then a 90s rigid MTB was exactly what I was thinking of. Lucky me that's exactly what I got, a relative sold it to me for pennies and I loved the little old cunt. I don't ride it anymore but I lend it to anyone who need a bike in a pinch. I hope it's doing well with its current temporary owner.
