I've been restoring this old MTB for some time now (Marin Bobcat Trail '04). My aim is to have it become my daily driver and a trusty workhorse for longer journeys. Currently it's equipped with the original suspension fork, which I'm thinking of switching to a rigid one. Would that make any sense? Radon has a 26" disc compatible alu / carbon fork that's roughly 920g, and a considerably cheaper alu fork that's 1500g.
