/n/ guys, I need some advice on how a good way to handle this would be.
My dad is a big roadie and has two nice bikes, an older full carbon fiber road bike called a scatante that he always used to ride down mexico with, and when he started getting into triathlons he bought a very nice canondale triathlon bike. I assume that he spent at least a few grand on each of these bikes. My sister and I are both college students so have little space for them once his house gets sold and, to put it simply dont have much else left in the estate. She definitely wants to sell them, which I see because we both need the money. Where do you take bikes like these to get appraised or bought, to a local bike shop, commercial cycling store, or go by feel and post for sale online? Eventually I think I'd like to try riding as there are great roads for it where I live but dont know much if it all about it. I love my dad and want to keep as much of his stuff as I can but if its worth it to try and do something else with them I may do that instead, it really doesnt help he never had a will and this all happened super unexpectedly, and before anyone asks no it wasnt the gook flu. Sadly I dont have any pictures of the bikes because theyre in another state and im already back where I live for university
