26-46 Front chain rings take up 20 teeth - sometimes listed as "front difference"
if you were to use a "mega range" 14-34 tooth Rear sprocket this would use 20 teeth of the total capacity
meaning your front difference would be reduced to 14 teeth ,eg 26-40 chain rings
