In the same vein, and I'll probably crosspost this to DIY, how shitty would a bicycle made from 1,5-2mm thick steel tubes? I want to build a folding recumbent from salvaged and 3d printed parts, and that's the lowest setting my crapsack welder reliably allows. On the other hand the thicker tubing should allow me to make it simpler, with no need for a diamond frame or the like, right?
