Just got this 2018 Pure Cycles Classic Steel. So far all gears shift fine. It's smoother than I thought it would be. Complaints - stem seems kinda long but it's my first road bike, not sure how far I should be hunched over?

Mechanical brakes do seem a little rough, almost crunchy. I suppose I should change the brake pads
