I never heard about it because I left a hour prior that day. I have been noticing the symptoms of ATC overload since I'm listening to ground all day. They're really pissy sometimes and it's compounded by lots of traffic (yesterday was abnormally busy, like pre-COVID levels of flights), pilots not listening, or radio problems (I've pissed them off once doing that cause I was in a nasty dead zone during a repo, they could hear me but I couldn't hear them). Or I've gotten instructions that didn't make sense and I had to use my own judgement or correct them. I actually feel bad, they're constantly stressed.
