>>1123022>>1123045I dislike these prefab pedestrian bridges, and they're everywhere. The fencing is so unwelcoming. I understand why it's there and there's probably not another feasible solution, but it just plain sucks. Even without the fences they usually look out of place because they're nearly always built with weathering steel instead of being painted. (weathering steel looks better than unpainted galvanized steel, I guess.) The prefabrication saves money for whoever buys them, but they all look identical---little or no aesthetic improvement over a concrete girder bridge, imo.
